Policy considerations
This chapter synthesises key findings from the eighth round of the EUROSTUDENT survey, aiming to provide a panoramic view of cross-cutting issues affecting students in European higher education. This chapter highlights relevant issues and intends to inspire national policymakers to reflect on the identified patterns and insights from 25 countries in their own national contexts. Two perspectives are taken: firstly, the situation of different student groups is comprehensively described, underscoring the diversity of student experiences. Secondly, key issues affecting many students are identified and outlined. By then linking the project and its results to the 'Principles and Guidelines to Strengthen the Social Dimension of Higher Education in the EHEA', it is presented how EUROSTUDENT can inform ongoing efforts to enhance the social dimension of higher education in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
