AI in TVET

Reflections and Implementations Across Academia, Industry, and Policymaking

Artificial intelligence is transforming technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and opening new perspectives for learning, teaching and skills development. This edited volume explores current developments at the intersection of AI, higher education, industry and policymaking, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into TVET through a human-centred approach.

The contributions combine international perspectives from research, educational practice and policy. They address frameworks for AI integration in higher education and vocational training, teacher preparation, AI-enhanced learning environments and practical applications in continuing education and knowledge transfer. Case studies further illustrate institutional transformation processes and international cooperation initiatives.

The publication is aimed at researchers, educators, policymakers and stakeholders in vocational education, training and international education cooperation.
